Plants, done right.
We grow on 4 acres outside Waco. Twelve strains, two harvests a year, lab-pass on every batch. No middlemen, no wholesale flower mixed in, no rebranded mids. Direct from our soil to your jar — same farm, same hands, since 2021.

Cannabis got industrial. The boutique part — the farmer who knows their soil, the cure that takes weeks not days, the lot you can trace back to a row — that’s the part that disappeared. We're bringing it back.

“The flower wins, the customer wins. Always in that order.”
The slow way.
Step 01
Mother room.
Time · ~30 daysSix genetic lines, hand-selected. Every plant we grow is cloned from a mother Tomás knows by feel.

Step 02
Veg house.
Time · ~21 days18-hour light cycles. Living-soil amendments. No bottled nutrients — we feed the soil, the soil feeds the plant.

Step 03
Flower house.
Time · 56–63 daysSungrown when the season allows, supplemented with full-spectrum LEDs. Plants get longer photoperiod recovery than industry norm.

Step 04
Hang-cure room.
Time · 21–28 days58°F, 58% humidity. Whole-plant hang for 14–21 days, then a slow burp-cure for another week. Twice as long as the industry standard.

Step 05
Hand-trim.
Time · ~7 daysEvery flower is trimmed by hand. Yes, it's slower. Yes, it's why our jars look the way they do.

Step 06
Lab + ship.
Time · ~5 daysThree samples per batch to ProVerde. Pass the pesticide, microbial, mycotoxin and heavy-metal panels — or the batch goes back.

How we got here.
2019
Two friends, one tent
Maya and Jesse start growing six plants in a Waco basement to figure out what "good" actually tastes like.

2021
First licensed plot
Acquire 4 acres of certified-organic land outside McLennan. Hire Tomás to lead cultivation.

2023
Sticky Green launches
Opened the doors with 4 strains and a single mailer. Sold out in 11 days.

2024
Lab partnership w/ ProVerde
Every batch tested by an independent third-party. Results published with the order.

2025
12 strains, 50 employees
Doubled the team, tripled the catalog. Still sourcing from the same 4 acres.

2026
Carbon-negative goal
Pledged to be carbon-negative by end of year — the cure-room solar project lands in May.

The people.
Maya Reyes
Co-Founder · Cultivation
Plant-science degree from UT Austin. Spent four years on a heritage tomato farm before turning her attention to cannabis genetics.
“I grew up watching my abuela tend her garden. Cannabis is just another plant — same care, same patience.”
Jesse Park
Co-Founder · Operations
Former product lead at a sustainable apparel brand. Builds the brand voice, the packaging, the part you actually hold in your hand.
“We started Sticky Green because every dispensary felt like a Best Buy. Plants deserve better packaging.”
Tomás Aguilar
Head Cultivator
Joined in 2021 after running cultivation for a 30-acre tomato operation. Walks every row, tags every mother plant himself.
“Twelve years in tomato greenhouses, four in cannabis. The discipline is the same — it's just a louder plant.”
Jules Tan
Head Buyer · Curation
Former wine-shop buyer. Hand-picks the bundle program, runs the rotating “buyer's pick” column on the homepage.
“A bundle is a love letter. You're telling someone 'trust me — this combination, in this order.'”
Plus 50 more.
Trimmers, cure-room operators, fulfillment, customer service. They get a piece of every harvest.
Four rules.
01
Plant-first.
Every decision starts with what's best for the plant — light cycles, cure times, soil microbiome. The flower wins, the customer wins.
02
Lab-honest.
Every batch published with cannabinoid, terpene, microbial and pesticide panels. No hiding the result, no “representative” samples.
03
Small on purpose.
4 acres is the right size. Big enough to be honest about quality. Small enough that Tomás still walks every row.
04
Texas-grown, full-stop.
Grown, cured, packed and shipped from McLennan County. No wholesale flower mixed in, no rebranded mids.
Carbon-negative by Christmas.
Cure-room solar lands May 2026, 320kW. Combined with our existing offsets and our pledge to never expand the plot, we expect to be net carbon-negative by year-end.
